Job Description

Job Summary

        Metal material Expert for braking product material selection application and verification

 

Responsibilities

        Conduct metal material (e.g. steel aluminum) application for product new development or cost reduction

        Fatigue calculation with PPM value for specific hydraulic and mechanical components

        Release of locally sourced materials together with purchasing and suppliers

        Define and monitor material release plan according to project timeline

        Evaluation and documentation of material test results

        Technical support for failure part analysis with SEM/EDX

        Cooperation with other divisions in Germany USA and Japan


Qualifications :

        . or Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering

        35 years related working history in metal materials area

        Solid engineering background in material selection and release for new product application & cost reduction

        Good at material fatigue analysis with ability to perform failure probability calculation

        Experience of development of material suppliers

        Basic braking system product knowhow for ABS/ESP/IPB

        Fluent in English and good communication skills

        Basic project management knowledge
