Job Description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

As a Senior Marketing Manager at Stryker you will develop and direct marketing programs for our legacy Acute Care Emergency Care and Sage divisions in Canada. You will also play a critical role in shaping the longterm talent strategy for the marketing organization fostering a culture of excellence innovation and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership

    • Lead the team responsible for developing and executing the product and portfolio strategy.
    • Establish a longterm talent plan for the marketing organization ensuring sustainable growth and leadership development.
    • Drive a culture of excellence and innovation ensuring high performance across all marketing initiatives.
  • Marketing Strategy &

    • Own the marketing plan from creation to ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Challenge the team to employ effective segmentation targeting and positioning methods.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize pricing strategies based on market conditions and product lifecycle.
    • Establish metrics to measure the success of marketing objectives in driving customer engagement.
  • Financial & Business Acumen

    • Demonstrate strong P&L understanding making datadriven decisions to optimize marketing investments.
    • Identify and implement breakthrough solutions across crossfunctional teams influencing business strategy.
  • Industry & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Develop key relationships with industry thought leaders organizations and institutions in collaboration with other marketing leaders.
  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead a team of professionals ensuring talent growth mentorship and high performance.
    • Develop employees by hiring coaching administering performance appraisals and fostering career progression.
    • Champion company culture policies and values ensuring a positive and engaged work environment.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 10 years of work experience required
  • 7 years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • 4 years of people management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent strategies and fostering a culture of excellence within marketing organizations.

Travel Percentage: 30
