Qualifications:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHPEligible with the State of Virginia
- Masters Degree in a related human services field
- EMDR Certification preferred
- 3 years of experience in direct services with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
- Deep understanding of effective mental health treatment modalities and bestpractice approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient individual group and family therapy as well as crisis management and psychoeducation services
- Conduct initial client intake and assessment; develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Maintain and update diagnostic assessments and records providing accurate DSMV diagnoses
- Ensure thorough documentation for clinical and recordkeeping purposes
- Review documentation including progress notes treatment plans and reports as needed
- Undertake additional duties within the scope of the position as required
