Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist
Location: Greenvale NY
Schedule: MondayFriday 5x8s (Day shift) No nights weekends major holidays or oncall
Salary Range: $77000 $81000/year
Position Overview:
A reputable outpatient surgery center is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist to support its highperforming surgical team. This is a fulltime dayshift opportunity offering worklife balance and exposure to multiple specialties including orthopedics plastics and ENT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical team by preparing operating rooms arranging equipment and providing instruments during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique.
- Support orthopedic total joint replacement general ENT pain management podiatry and plastic surgery procedures.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons nurses and support staff.
- Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are accounted for before and after procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Active BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience including orthopedics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role.
- Demonstrated excellence in highvolume multispecialty OR environments.
