Job Description
Position Summary:
The Assistant Track coach will assist the head coach in the planning and operation of a NCAA Division II program.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting and assisting the Head Coach with the operation and management of the track program including but not limited to:
- Recruiting practice & game management eligibility team performance (on the track in the classroom in the weight room & in the community) studentathlete welfare assisting with the management and administration of summer camps fundraising and promoting Ohio Dominican Athletics as an integral part of the University.
- Committed to and be compliant with NCAA GMAC and ODU rules and regulations.
- Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in sports administration management business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Two to three years of experience in coaching and/or playing in the respective sport ideally at the intercollegiate Division II level.
