Job Summary:
Join the Colorado School of Public Health as a Clinical Research Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (Research Services Program Director). This position is a key member of the schools Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center and will oversee investigatorinitiated observational research protocols and clinical trials including daytoday clinical research operations training and oversight of clinical staff documentation and reporting of unanticipated adverse events and review of laboratory results.
This individual will work closely with and provide support for center directors principal investigators project managers and laboratory staff.

The LEAD Center is a multidisciplinary research center situated across the Colorado School of Public Health and the Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine. LEADs mission is to investigate the developmental origins of health and disease particularly obesity type 1 and type 2 diabetes and the complex interplay of environmental exposures genetic and epigenetic processes in critical developmental periods across the lifecourse. Collectively the ultimate goal of LEAD Center research is to translate mechanistic and observational findings into preventive action. LEAD scientists work with data from multiple human cohort studies housed within the Center (Healthy Start Exploring Perinatal Outcomes among CHildren SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth Diabetes in Children Adolescents and Young Adults Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study Tribal Turning Point) as well as in consortia such as the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) and Discovery of Risk Factors for Type 2 Diabetes in Youth (DISCOVERY).

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting target salary for this position has been established as
$89500 $110000.
The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
