The Intermediate Care Unit is a 25bed unit caring for a variety of patients. Our unit falls under the critical care umbrella. This unit is considered a cardiac unit and the patients are typically monitored on telemetry. IMC is a fastpaced environment; the acuity of the patients can change rapidly. The IMC staff works together as a team to provide the patients with the utmost efficient care.
We are looking for new team members to join the unit that will exhibit high energy with innovative ideas to cultivate an atmosphere of excellent patient care reaching for professional growth and help development of a cohesive team environment collectively striving for the same goal Nursing Excellence!

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148bed Magnetdesignated hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977 it offers specialty services that include 24hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery an inpatient rehabilitation facility and fullservice radiology including advanced CT with cardiac scoring fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography).

Qualifications
Associates in Nursing Required
Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
Graduates from a nonaccredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
1 year of experience as an RN in the ICU Preferred
