LINCOLN SUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT390 LINCOLN ROADSUDBURY MA 01776EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYSCHOOL YEARJOB POSTINGTitle: LongTerm Substitute Chemistry Teacher 1.0 FTE) Position Summary: LincolnSudbury Regional High School seeks a LongTerm Substitute Chemistry Teacher to cover a leave of absence effective immediately through the close of the school and Responsibilities (Not limited to):*Teach Chemistry courses as assigned 3 Honors and 1 College Preparatory)*Meet the goals of the assigned courses and the overarching goals of the Science Department and the school*Plan lessons that meet the individual needs interests and abilities of the students*Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior*Provide timely and appropriate feedback to students with progress reports as needed*Communicate with parents to discuss student progress as needed*Cooperate with other professional staff in supporting student learning*Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science Department and throughout the school*Attend faculty meetings department meetings professional development opportunities provided by the school and IEP and 504 meetings*Fulfill other duties as assignedQualifications:*Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred from an accredited college or university*Licensed or eligible for licensure in Chemistry 812 or General Science 812 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsementExperience Preferred:*3 years in an educational teaching environment *High School teaching experience LincolnSudbury Regional High School is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race color religion national origin pregnancy gender identity sexual orientation marital/civil union status ancestry place of birth age citizenship status veteran status political affiliation genetic information or disability as defined and required by state and federal laws.
