GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Monitors maintains and repairs the electrical distribution system including the lighting system backup generators and related equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs preventive maintenance of all building electrical equipment making repairs as necessary. 65
- Responds to service and emergency calls regarding any facility electrical issue and/or device. 20
- Performs electrical work related to construction. 10
- Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH Joint Commission ICRA and National Electric Code requirements. 5
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Must have prior experience as a registered electrician working with commercial or institutional electrical systems.
- Valid local municipality electrical license as required by regulations
Preferred
- Prior Healthcare Experience.
