Job Description
Intermediate District 287 is looking for a licensed School Nurse for an opening this summer at North Education Center!
Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K12 as well as transition age students 1822 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position Details:
- Local 2209 Salary Schedule A:$35.68 $65.78 per hour(depending on experience and education)
- This is a temporary position for Summer ESY only
- Location: North Education Center in New Hope MN
- Dates: June 25 orientation
July 7 July 25 - Staff Hours: 8:45 AM 12:45 PM
Education and Experience Requirements:
- One 1 year of experience as a professional registered nurse (RN) with six 6 months in school health services public health hospital or psychiatric nursing.
- Special Requirement: Must possess and retain a license as a Registered Professional Nurse in Minnesota.

Licensure Requirements:
- Current Licensed School Nurse issued by Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB).
- Public Health Nursing Certificate and CPR certification is required.
- First Aid certification is preferred.
Interview Process:
- Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
