POSITION CustodialSummer Help
LOCATION Districtwide
SCHEDULE
4 Day/10 Hour Schedule
6:00 AM 4:30 PM (inlcudes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
SALARY $16.66 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans school facilities to maintain a sanitary safe and attractive environment.
- Keeps all floors in a clean and attractive condition and good state of preservation.
- Performs general maintenance upkeep and repair.
- Complies with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash rubbish and waste.
- Be familiar with the products and equipment used in the care of the building.
- Professionally interact with District staff colleagues members of the public and students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Flexible in learning new concepts cooperates with others and adapts to a variety of assignments and conditions.
- Demonstrates personal characteristics of flexibility highstress tolerance reliability punctuality dependability and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with other employees management staff students and the public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Health and physical stamina to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Perform work at various heights and perform various types of physical labor for up to a ten 10 hour shift.
- Stand walk reach lift bend kneel stoop push and pull. Stand or walk 95 percent of the workday.
- The position requires frequent squatting bending stooping or twisting at the neck and trunk while performing the essential job functions.
- Fine motor skills including use ofhands and fingers to handle or feel objects and be able to hear or talk to others.
- Perform work in adverse weather conditions.
