Job Description
Custom machine learning chips are at the heart of our Trainium machine learning instances and we invite you to build them with us!
As a senior SDE in the presilicon team you will be responsible for driving the presilicon hardware/software codevelopment for our machine learning chips.
You will work with architecture design and emulation teams to build new silicon functionality.
You will write baremetal software to verify the endtoend functionality of the SoC and the functionality and performance of different subsystems in the SoC.
If you have a solid background in embedded software system development or chip design come join us!
* 5 YoE in software development
* Knowledge of HW/SW interfaces and computer architecture
* Proficiency in programming in C/C scripting in Bash/Python
* Proficiency in data structures and algorithms
* Knowledge in low level software such as firmware and device drivers
* Knowledge in SoC architecture
* Knowledge in IO(PCIE AXI) Memory(HBM DDR) CPU architecture and Interconnects.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
