Key Details:
Fulltime new hires will start in a twoyear program commencing in July 2025.
The twoyear development program is designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of investment banking talent.
Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with inperson attendance at your assigned location in accordance with Capital Ones hybrid working model.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent fulltime degree program by July 2025 or earlier
Preferred Qualifications:
Major in Finance Accounting Business Economics or Mathematics
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Exceptional quantitative analytical problem solving and conceptual skills
Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
Passion for the financial markets and the economy
Strong Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative and dynamic environment

What is the Investment Banking Development Program at Capital One
We have designed a 2year investment banking development program to help you launch a challenging accelerated and rewarding career within Capital Markets at Capital One. The program awards you a fulltime Analyst position with KippsDeSanto & Co. (KDC) a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital One to support its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory practice within the Aerospace Defense and Government Technology sectors. KDC is focused on providing comprehensive transaction advisory services primarily M&A private financing and strategic advisory to middle market defense and technology companies.
The Investment Banking Development Program offers substantial opportunity for professional development and upward mobility. Roles and Responsibilities:
Organize and create client marketing presentations memoranda and deliverables
Develop an in depth understanding of Investment Banking products and services
Conduct industry and market research and analysis and recommend solutions to clients
Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial and marketrelated information
Assist in the preparation of financial models and business valuations
Work closely with Capital Ones relationship bankers and Underwriting teams to provide Capital Markets insight and deepen the product and/or advisory suite for their clients
The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $110000 $120000 for KDC Investment Banking AnalystCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
