Job Description
Engine Technician Shop
Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a fulltime 1st shift Engine Technician Shop position available at our Corpus Christi Texas location. The hours of the position are MondayFriday from 7 AM 4 PM.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing highquality teardown inspection and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment responding to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and ensuring maximum value for work performed.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctlysuchas teardown inspection and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment.
- At least 2 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills ofdiesel engines are required OR
equivalentdiesel tech schooling is required.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have a valid and cleandrivers license.
