Job Description
Appleview Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate 5th Grade Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a nurturing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters academic social and emotional growth in learners. The ideal candidate will be committed to differentiated instruction and strong classroom management to support all students success.
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education
- Experience in primary education is preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and literacy & math instruction
- Excellent communication collaboration and classroom management skills
- Commitment to creating a positive inclusive and studentcentered learning environment
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and district curriculum standards
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster respect responsibility and independence
- Work collaboratively with gradelevel teams support staff and administration to ensure student success.
- Maintain open and positive communication with families through conferences newsletters and digital platforms
- Participate in professional development staff meetings and schoolwide initiatives
