Beckman Coulter is looking for a dynamic sales leader to join our team! Join us as our new Government Accounts Manager where you will influence navigate and negotiate at the executive level within your partnered customer accounts. Working cross functionally you will provide insight direction and leadership to build an overall business strategy focused on the Government Health Systems goals from a business and financial perspective that will meet the needs of the hospital network and Beckman Coulter Diagnostics alike.

This position is part of the North America Sales Specialist Segments and will be fully remote in the Western Territory. At Beckman Coulter our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare One Diagnosis at a Time.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with the regional teams to lead sales campaigns while developing strategies/tactics for your respective federal government accounts.
  • Partners with key executives and decision makers within Government Health systems to help them articulate their strategies create value and profitable solutions to meet their needs and position Beckman Coulters products and services as the partner of choice.
  • Guide and coach the customers and internal team through the RFP/RFQ process. Provides education and insight to the local teams in regard to federal acquisition regulations government and audit provisions federal government contracts and purchasing trends
  • Build a strategic YOY business plan within each Government Health System incorporating key value drivers for both the customer as well as Beckman Coulter which will drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership.
  • Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns with the local regional teams ensuring that each member of the team understands the needs of the whole Government Health System and how their actions tie into the bigger customer partnership.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelors degree required. 9 years of commercial experience with at least 5 years of prior experience within the government space.
  • Strong knowledge and/or expertise in government accounts with intimate knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) including contracting procedures and regulations. A solid understanding of federal supply schedules (FSS) and government services agreements (GSA) and all proposal processes as well as be experts in articulating differentiators necessary to command the greatest economic benefit.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation; can support team and work at high levels within customer decision making unit to negotiate complex deals which are profitable to the company and in line with revenue and margin objectives.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points communicate effectively to h/her team develop action plans and bring to a successful conclusion.
  • Proven track record of leading large complex sales campaigns.

The salary range for this role is $130000 $150000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
