We are pleased to offer you a signon bonus of up to $2650. Bonuses are prorated for regular scheduled shifts of less than 40 hours.

YOUR SCHEDULE
This position works a schedule of 2:30 pm 11:00 pm and works every other weekend as part of the biweekly schedule.
YOUR DAY
As a 2nd Shift Childrens Residential Counselor you help our young students develop their independence and learn healthy life skills. You visit students engage in conversation and assist with daily living tasks like cooking housekeeping and personal hygiene. As you perform your work you leave room for the student to assert some control and make their own choices. You also encourage students to develop social relationships and participate in recreational activities helping them make friends and strengthen community ties. Your caregiving work is vital in helping students bridge the gap between their current abilities and their future goals!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Capable of remaining awake during an overnight shift to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students
- Able to work holidays and weekend shifts as required
- Able to perform activities of daily living
- Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our students
- A mandatory 1 week of training is required with a schedule of Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm.
A high school degree or equivalent would be preferred. Caregiving experience would be a plus!
