Overview
Freedom Boat Club is currently looking to add an Experienced Marine Tech to our Venice FL location.
At Brunswick we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.
Work Experience
Certified in Yamaha or Mercury is a plus
Must have knowledge of 12v electrical rigging and outboard diagnostics
Fiberglass repair a plus
Boating experience in and around boats is preferred
Know how to work safely in a shop environment maintain a clean work environment and adhere to required safety policies
Know how to maneuver a boat and trailer
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.
Other Requirements
Must be a team player
Must be a selfstarter and capable of working unsupervised
Ability to maintain a calm positive attitude during periods of high activity
Good attention to detail
High School degree
Valid drivers license and good driving record
Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass a background and drug screening
The anticipated pay range for this position is $23.00 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including jobrelated knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.
At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
