Job Description
Position Summary:
Are you detailoriented and thrive on driving results in a collaborative environment Securian Financial is seeking a Senior Due Diligence Analyst to join our team! In this role you will focus on responding to client due diligence requests. You will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company to develop and maintain policies procedures and standards. This role also monitors industry trends aligns due diligence policies and procedures with best practices and presents deliverables to stakeholders both within Securian and externally.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Due Diligence Response
- Collaborates with Sales Account Managers Compliance and SMEs (Information Security Cyber Security Law and Privacy) to complete client due diligence requests and questionnaires.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs.
- Ensures uptodate information and documents for client due diligence requests.
- Manages and updates the repository of standard answers and documents.
- Coordinates and participates in client due diligence onsite visits.
- Develops a consistent approach to due diligence response.
- Monitors confidentiality and distribution of requested documentation.
Program Development
- Authors and analyzes policies processes and procedures with the TPRM team and stakeholders.
- Promotes compliant and consistent TPRM workflows policies and procedures.
- Develops workflows policies and procedures for due diligence requests.
- Communicates policy changes to relevant parties.
- Recommends process improvements.
Other Duties
- Communicates complex information effectively.
- Establishes trust with business partners.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
- Participates in industry events and continuing education.
- Keeps up with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Engages in special projects related to TPRM.
- Develops a holistic view of the organization.
- Promotes risk awareness throughout the enterprise.
- Assists with audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in risk management legal Information Security or a related field.
- Knowledge of due diligence processes.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings on complex issues.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in advanced reporting and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in due diligence response or a similar role.
- Advanced degree (JD MBA etc..
- CTPRP certification or equivalent in thirdparty risk management (or willingness to obtain).
- CISA certification or equivalent in information security (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in financial services or insurance industries.
