Job Summary:
We are looking for a bright engaged Product Designer. You will work closely with fellow designers as well as members of the product engineering and content groups to create and produce exceptional user experiences.
Primary responsibilities:
Produce high quality visual assets layouts and user experiences that align with and elevate the brand voice and enhance the content experience for our readers.
Design the information architecture interface and interaction flows for a range of screen sizes and interaction models.
Collaborate with editors and the wider team to ideate evolve and execute bestinclass visual design art direction for illustration photo treatments motion design and custom layouts.
Help to define and evolve design standards and best practices via our multibrand design system.
Required Skills
Mandatory Skills:
4 years of experience creating usercentered design solutions preferably for editorial content.
Able to explain your ideas and design decisions to a range of stakeholders.
Understand the value of design and brand and have a point of view about your work.
Interested in working in a collaborative environment where ideas are valued and shared.
Able to take charge as a design lead on multiple projects manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Able to give and take direction and criticism.
A high level of proficiency creating prototypes with Figma and other tools.
Proficient using the Adobe suite and other visual design tools. Bachelors degree in design HCI or equivalent work experience.
A portfolio of work showcasing how content design and interface work together to create great digital experiences.
Good to Have:
Experience creating and maintaining corporate identities and associated design systems.
Illustration animation skills.
