Job Description

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Deep Understanding of Azure Services:A comprehensive grasp of Azures core services across compute (Virtual Machines Azure Functions Azure Container Instances Azure Kubernetes Service) networking (Virtual Networks Load Balancers Azure DNS VPN Gateway) storage (Blob Storage Azure Files Azure Queue Storage Azure Disks) and databases (Azure SQL Database Azure Cosmos DB Azure Database for MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Azure Architecture and Design:Ability to design scalable secure highly available and costeffective cloud solutions on Azure aligning with the Azure WellArchitected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Identity and Access Management:Expertise in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) including user and group management rolebased access control (RBAC) single signon (SSO) multifactor authentication (MFA) and conditional access.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR):Ability to design and implement BCDR solutions using Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery and other relevant services.
- Monitoring and Logging:Experience with Azure Monitor Azure Log Analytics and Application Insights for monitoring the health performance and security of Azure environments.
- Cost Management:Ability to optimize Azure spending and implement cost control measures.
Experience:
- Significant Cloud Experience:Typically employers look for candidates with several years (often 510 years) of overall cloud experience with a focus on Azure native cloud services.
- Handson Azure Experience:Proven experience in designing deploying and managing Azure solutions is includes working with various Azure services and implementing architectural best practices.
- Experience with Migration:Familiarity with migrating applications and workloads from onpremises environments to Azure is often required.
Soft Skills:
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders including Csuite executives.
- ProblemSolving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues in Azure environments.
- Analytical Skills:Capacity to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Azure solutions.
- Collaboration Skills:Working effectively with crossfunctional teams including developers administrators and security
