Job Summary
Under direction of the Department Chairs and Instructional Specialists. Students will prepare welding materials with saws oxy/act troches and assist with shop cleanup and organization.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience: This position requires current enrollment at the LBCC Welding program or the Pipe Trades program. Student must be in good standing at LBCC . Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at LinnBenton Community College. Knowledge and Experience: Students must be a student in the Welding or Pipe Trade Program(s). Abilities : Student employees must have the ability to perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively. This position requires the ability to utilize metal processing equipment. Training will be provided.
