The Product Specialist will support OSAMs business development of CANVAS (Custom/Direct Indexing) throughout each stage of the client journey. The successful candidate will be considered a key problemsolving resource to our clients and will primarily collaborate with Senior Product Specialists on prospecting onboarding and maintaining relationships. The need for this hire is driven by the growth of CANVAS OSAMs revolutionary Custom/Direct Indexing platform designed to improve the relationship between asset managers and allocators.
Support and work closely with Senior Product Specialists to promote CANVAS
Educate and promote CANVAS throughout Franklin Templeton internal sales teams and partner firm sales professionals
Develop an indepth understanding of CANVAS workflows and work closely with Client Service and Implementation teams on a daily basis
Serve as primary home office and financial advisor coverage for select partner firms
Educate clients and prospects on the value of Custom/Direct Indexing and key differentiators offered by CANVAS
Develop new advisor relationships and retain and deepen existing relationships
Work with partner firms through their advisory management and home office sales team to promote CANVAS and specific initiatives/offerings
Demonstrate the ability to be a utility player able to flex between operations analysis and client facing activities
Take ownership of followup communication
Work with resources/teams to prepare home office and advisorspecific marketing and education collateral based on internal and external requests
Work with other internal teams to manage ongoing account service requests in a timely manner
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry and financial advisor practices
Ability to articulate the value of custom/direct indexing and become a true partner to financial advisor clients
Approximately 3 5 years of experience in sales asset management or investment management
Acute focus on client satisfaction/service
Skilled in creating and delivering impactful presentations
Ability to work independently and hold oneself accountable for results
Willingness to learn from others and participate in a team first environment
Basic understanding of equity investment landscape portfolio management financial planning and investment vehicles
Experience working with financial advisors
Ability to effectively problem solve in a timely manner
Superior work ethic
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Selfstarter able to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. At Franklin Templeton we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $105000 and $143000 per year plus bonus opportunity.
