Job Description

The Paralegal I will provide paralegal support to the Securities Corporate Governance & Finance group. The focus will be on handling a broad array of corporate governance and entity management matters.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to learn and develop the skills necessary to assist the attorneys and other members of the JLD Lane
- Able to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external parties
- Able to use a variety of basic programs such as Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of entity management systems such as those offered by Corporation Services Company (CSC) or Wolters Kluwer (CT Corporation) as well as Microsoft SharePoint would be a plus
- Knowledge of the matters covered below under Core Job Duties
EDUCATION:
- Associates Degree required
- Paralegal Certificate from ABAaccredited program preferred
CORE JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with subsidiaries management including:
- Corporate entity formation qualifications to do business withdrawals dissolutions mergers conversions and legal name changes
- Prepare subsidiary resolutions minutes stock and other certificates and corporate documents
- Maintain minute books and other corporate records and maintain electronic database of corporate information for more than 1400 subsidiaries
- Other duties as assigned from time to time depending on need

Salary/ Wage Range
$24.71$36.30 / hourCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
