About the role:

Our Resource Management (RM) team ensure we have the right people for the right jobs at the right time in the right places.

Resource Management works collaboratively with our business to deliver successful people deployment solutions and build quality client teams. As a Resource Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Resource Officers to deliver workforce and people deployment solutions often in fast paced and changing environments. You will work in partnership with stakeholders using your commercial mindset business acumen and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions.

You have the opportunity to learn key leadership skills from established and successful stakeholders and the opportunities to develop and progress professionally are significant for those with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

What your day will look like:

  • Responsible for the management of all demand requests using workforce planning systems.

  • Support the Resourcing Senior Lead to deliver on business strategic and people priorities including fair work allocation regular skills reviews etc.

  • Responsible for the operational rhythmand delivery of reporting insights that are informative and provide clear trends and risks and actions for the business to take.

  • Responsible for overall headcount planning and movements including monthly reconciliation interaction with Human Capital (HC) and recruitment for people planning. Includes: Transfers in/out Secondments Visa checks and supporting business cases for permanent moves. Annual headcount budget planning and half year review.

  • Responsible for the Line Management development and coaching of the officer within the team.

This role is for you if:

  • You bring experience from Resource Management Workforce Planning Recruitment or Operational people management.

  • You excel in stakeholder management and influencing with the ability to build authentic longterm relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • You demonstrate resilience and the ability to work under pressure with a proven ability to operate under conflicting priorities tight deadlines and demanding stakeholder needs.

  • You communicate with impact using different communication styles appropriate to the audience.

  • You have strong commercial and business acumen including the ability to use resourcing metrics and KPIs to inform decisionmaking across a business unit. Additionally you possess analytical and problemsolving skills with knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
