Overview:
FTE 0.2 10 hours per week); NonExempt
** BSN required. ** Not open to new grads.
Position hours will be evenings from 5:00PM 9:00PM EST 23 days a week with the option to pick up additional shifts if available. Will require attendance to any mandatory inperson staff meetings during business hours (such as monthly AllTeam meeting) for 24 hours.
Balance of directly patient care and nursing triage/administrative work. Responsibilities include nursing triage patient education care coordination administrative tasks and clinic.
Pay starts at $34.68/hr based on experience.

Essential Functions:
- Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
- Collaborates with primary care physicians specialty physicians and other service providers to identify patients in need of care coordination. Works closely with families to guide them through the health care system to optimize the care and services they receive to improve child health decrease costs and improve satisfaction with care.
- Administers treatments in a manner that improves clinical outcomes and reduces risk or cost. Ensures delivery of preventive services health promotion activities and other interventions that proactively address potential risks. Aware of evidence based standards and applicable national standards.
- Participates in policy and procedure development continuing education continuous quality improvement research and/or evidenced based practice.
- Engages in the workplace community by staying aware of changes participating in data collection or auditing understanding Quality Improvement and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
Education Requirement:
BSN required.
Licensure Requirement:
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and positionspecific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills:
Clinical skill and knowledge in the nursing care of children including normal growth and development and/or clinical expertise in specialized area required.
