The Randolph Public School Occupational Therapist provides services to students who are identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with their ability to perform daily life activities or participate in necessary or desired :1. Provides thorough assessment instruments pertinent to areas of therapy.2. Provides and develops specific performance objectives to meet individual needs of students with disabilities as prescribed by the Evaluation Team and collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy by suggestions for the students daily activities;3. Maintains thorough ongoing records of referred screened and eligible students as well as individual students receiving therapy or other schoolprovided occupational services. 4. Serves as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for students with occupational needs and provides information support and consultation to parents and families when appropriate.5. Maintains and improves professional competence through attendance at professional development events and by selfgenerated activities that meet district expectations and the requirements for recertification;6. Shares responsibility for accomplishing the goals and priorities of his/her grade/team/department building and school district attending all faculty and department meetings as required and districtwide committees as needed;7. Performs other duties as assigned by the School Principal and Director of Special Education and Pupil Services.8. Attend Team meetings writing goals/objectives progress monitoring with each report card : 182 school days in accordance with the Randolph Education Association (REA) collective bargaining agreement. Salary placement will be consistent with REA salary schedule
