Capital One is seeking an energetic selfmotivated Senior Audit Manager interested in becoming part of our Audit team. The candidates primary focus will be on supporting Audit Practices in overseeing quality assurance reviews and driving key quality improvement initiatives ensuring alignment with our audit methodology.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the leading the coordination and of key quality assurance reviews including providing major input to planning and testing as well as identification development and documentation of exceptions related to quality assurance reviews
Deliver verbal and written communication to the audit teams and audit leadership
Establish and maintain effective relationships with audit teams and audit leadership
Support the implementation of the teams strategic imperatives/priorities
Design and execute bestinclass operational processes and improvement initiatives of moderate complexity for the quality assurance and improvement program
Manage direct reports and staff during audit engagements and provide feedback on work performed.
Provide training and coaching to audit team members during quality assurance reviews as applicable
Work independently under general supervision and can exercise latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience in auditing accounting financial analysis or a combination
At least 5 years of experience leading audits and performing in the role of auditorincharge
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Auditing Masters Degree in Accounting Masters Degree in Information Systems or Master of Business Administration
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
10 years of experience in Banking or in the financial services industry

This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend 3 days per week (Monday Thursday) inperson at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprisewide virtual work days.
The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Charlotte NC: $155300 $177200 for Audit Sr. ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
