Job Description

Job DescriptionFulfill regular classroom duties of the lead teacher in OMaley Middle Schools subseparate Life Skillsprogram to support students with learning disabilities by providing individualized intensive instruction inareas like reading writing language comprehension and executive Life Skills Program supports students with complex cognitive profiles learning delays and significantdisabilities. Students generally receive academic instruction in a small group setting within a subseparatespecial education classroom and are included with their sameage peers to the extent possible during theschool day. Specialized instruction is highly individualized and may include related services. A low studentto staff ratio allows opportunities for student success academically socially and emotionally.
