Sr. Product Specialist
Reports To Technical Sales Specialist Lead
Group/Division: Bioscioences Division
Location: Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities:
Join our worldclass team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our product management operations. As a Sr. Product Specialist you will be entrusted with:
- Achieving regional sales targets and driving portfolio performance.
- Demonstrating and showcasing the assigned product portfolio.
- Leading and developing a team of Product Specialists to align with regional goals.
- Providing secondlevel support to Product Specialists addressing critical issues and facilitating customer interactions.
- Collaborating with Sales teams to ensure alignment with regional sales numbers.
- Collecting and analyzing tender information pitching for the right tenders and maintaining a record of regional Win/Loss tenders.
- Conducting training sessions for internal teams and channel partners.
- Presenting at scientific forums conferences technical seminars and product launch events.
- Planning and performing workshops technical demos and presales customer presentations as well as providing postsales support.
Education & Qualification:
- Postgraduate or Ph.D. in Life Sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years of technocommercial experience in the life sciences industry with proven managerial capabilities.
- Selfmotivated ambitious and driven for a successful sales career.
- Willingness to travel up to 70 of the time.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Outstanding sales competence and a detailed understanding of the portfolio.
- Proven experience as an Application Specialist Product Specialist or Product Manager.
- Advanced technical knowledge in biological sciences.
