Elementary World Language and Culture TeacherPosition Overview: Littleville Elementary School is seeking a dynamic and culturally responsive World Languages and Cultures Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year to introduce students in grades K5 to world languages and global traditions. This educator will inspire curiosity and respect for cultural diversity through language instruction handson projects storytelling music and exploration of global customs. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to enrich crosscurricular learning and help students build awareness of their place in a multicultural Responsibilities:Design and implement engaging lessons that introduce students to one or more world languages (e.g. Spanish French Mandarin Portuguese) in ageappropriate immersive experiences that explore geography global traditions celebrations music food art and cultural to the Massachusetts Foreign Languages Framework ensuring instruction supports the development of communication cultures connections comparisons and with classroom teachers and specialists to support interdisciplinary and thematic respectful dialogue and global awareness among a classroom environment that is welcoming safe and regularly with families to share student learning and encourage cultural connections at in school events celebrations and professional development aligned with our schools mission and instructional vision. Applicants must hold either a current MA DESE Elementary 16 or Foreign Language Certification.
