Job Responsibilities:
- Track sensor capability development to ensure coordination between efforts across a variety of FMS and domestic AN/TPY2 product offices.
- Understand THAAD weapon system requirements and effectively communicate the role of the sensor in validation and verification of those requirements.
- Coordinate with multiple prime contractors to support sensor software test and integration at the prime integrators software integration lab.
- Provide test support and program updates to leadership for the major end items of the KSA AN/TPY2 Radar as well as other support equipment needed to support testing activities.
- Coordinate White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) test site requirements verification and test planning. Ensure test sites meet radar requirements for power space availability data reduction capabilities etc.
- Coordinate collective training and tactical site requirements OCONUS to ensure readiness for sensor and weapon system emplacements
- Track and support test activities (hardware and software) related to KSA AN/TPY2 development radar sell off CONUS and OCONUS System Integration and Checkout (SICO).
- Provide weekly status briefings to leadership.
- Provide technical support to the SNXF integration facilities exportability logistics quality and acquisition/contracts team members as needed.
- Apply disciplined systems engineering practices identify and resolve complex problems associated with technical performance requirements systems integration and performance.
- Travel 25 to prime contractor facility test ranges and foreign weapon site locations (KSA).
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in STEM field and 12 years relevant experience supporting DoD programs
- Active Secret Clearance or higher required
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with AN/TPY2 radar (or other sensors involved in air or missile defense)
- Foreign Military Sales experience
- Experience with Program Management
- Experience implementing systems engineering V processes
- Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure and processes
