About the Team

The Cloud Enablement Product team sits at the heart of our Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) organization with a mission to help Capital One thrive on and with the public cloud. We are on a journey to ensure data privacy operational excellence and strategic growth for a wellmanaged and governed cloud. We are driving foundational capabilities that power secure scalable and resilient cloud operations.

In this role you will be expected to lead data protection (building and enhancing safeguards for our most critical data to meet compliance and standards globally) small accounts strategy (our ability to rightsize and segment AWS accounts) Cloud Software Defined Network (abstracted network management) and modern cloud architecture adoption.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 10 years of experience in technical product management engineering data privacy/protection or cloud operations/infrastructure

• 3 years of experience in people leadership

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
