Job Duties

The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Program Supervisor. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agencys Office of Community Living Division.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

This position is responsible for leading supervising and coordinating Medicaid Long term Care Services & Supports (LTSS) Screening initiatives.

This includes issues related to the screening process training and technical assistance policy and regulations electronic screening processes data dashboard Preadmission Screening & Resident Review (PASRR) and contracts with Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Department for Aging & Rehabilitation Services (DARS) Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Functions include staff
supervision data oversight and evaluation of short and longterm outcomes.

Assists in the development of regulations policies and procedures contracts and training for provider agencies individuals and stakeholders.

This position is responsible for assisting with the program development operations and functions of LongTerm Care Services and Supports.

Minimum Qualifications

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

Considerable workingrelated experience researching and identifying changes in program requirements and policies.

Considerable workrelated supervising a professional staff.

Experience in project management.

Experience in the development of regulations and policies.

Considerable knowledge of the health and social service needs of adults and persons with disabilities and all others with special healthcare needs.

Considerable workrelated experience monitoring program performance.

Considerable workrelated experience in the development and implementation of programs in a health care setting.

Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products.

Considerable workrelated experience analyzing interpreting and applying federal/state laws regulations and policies.

Experience adhering to stringent deadlines.

Considerable experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
