The Patient Access Training Manager is responsible for supporting the Patient Access training function within the RDBU Commercial Training and Development function. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to the patient access personnel and identifying training needs/gaps of the team. The Senior Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to collaborate on various projects with several crossfunctional teams including marketing medical affairs market access sales training site of care analytics compliance and other internal home office colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Patient Access training needs for 6 RDBU brands five discreet roles 11 unique teams with 300 learners across the Patient Access function
  • Acts as lead facilitator for multiday training applying adult learning methodologies varying training delivery methods to ensure continued engagement and efficiency
  • Identifies training and development needs for Patient Access through stakeholder meetings virtual and live forums to propose innovative ideas for newhire continuous and advanced training
  • Partners with subject matter experts to create highly engaged learning on complex topics that are tailored to the needs of diverse audiences
  • Assists in creating and delivering instructor led training programs supporting core account management access and reimbursement product disease state patient access skills and regulatory/compliance
  • Facilitates interactive technical and product training for Patient Services and Site of Care staff
  • In addition to training delivery works on a broad range of projects and initiatives working crossfunctionally to support business improvements and content updates to ensure accuracy
  • Maintains updates and improves training content applying instructional design techniques and standard methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Masters degree and 2 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry account management patient access and/or experience in training (headquarter or fieldbased)

Bachelors Degree and 4 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry account management patient access and/or experience in training (headquarter or fieldbased)

Associates Degree and 8 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry account management patient access and/or experience in training (headquarter or fieldbased)

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry account management patient access and/or experience in training (headquarter or fieldbased)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexible and agile with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple demands with a high level of initiative and independence required
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meetings etc. including some overnight and weekend commitments >25 required
  • Experience in content development and instructional design a plus
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) preferred
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional proactive demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
