The Emergency Department at St Marys of Nazareth is looking for a Full Time Sexual Nurse Examiner RN (SANE RN) to work the night shift.

Know Your Rights: Sexual Nurse Examiner (SANE) will provide timely nonjudgmental compassionate care to the sexual victim. This will include a forensic exam prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases photographic documentation referrals for appropriate medical and psychological followup support and participation in legal proceedings. The SANE is expected to follow protocols established by the Medical Director and/or management of the SANE program for which the SANE is employed. The SANE is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN license.
2. Unrestricted State DL
3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Completed approved Illinois SANE training 40 hours of Didactic coursework)
5. Complete the initial Pediatric SANE training within 6 months of hire.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $35.35 hour to $47.58 hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
