Essential Functions/Other FunctionsEssential Functions:The following responsibilities are required of the position plus any other duties that may be required by the employer. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the building administrator. Other duties may be assigned.
- The role requires the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students across wide range of academic levels.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching outlines using Washington State Standards.
- Teach using a variety of instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of students from varied socioeconomic backgrounds who possess a range of mental and emotional maturity.
- Plan develop and utilize a variety of instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of students from varied socioeconomic backgrounds who possess a range of mental and emotional maturity.
- Provide group and individual instruction to motivate students and effectively utilize the time available for instructional activities.
- Prepare administer score record and report student growth data.
- Counsel confer with and communicate with parents and school/district personnel regarding pupil progress.
- Monitor childrens interactions and nurture cooperation and team building.
- Collaborate with all school staff members.
- Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations.

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & SkillsMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree
- Teaching Degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Elementary Education or related endorsement(s).
- Prior teaching experience.
