Job Description
Seasonal Groundskeeper
Facilities Department
Flexible Scheduling and Hours
This is a seasonal fulltime position that will typically assist in the grass cutting during the Spring Summer and Fall as needed. This individual will work as needed and should expect to be off during the Winter and other times that grass cutting is not needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Drivers License
- Clean driving record
Essential Duties:
- Safely maintains and ensures the beauty of the grounds including cutting grass controlling weeds trimming landscaping and caring for plants trees and shrubs
- Hauls dirt sand gravel and mulch
- Operates repairs and maintains grounds maintenance equipment and ensures its safety
- Moves heavy objects and equipment
- Prepares athletic fields for sporting events
- Painting
- Assisting the Maintenance Technicians
- Landscaping
- Other duties may be assigned
