Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Project & Quality Control Manager with extensive experience in plumbing and a solid understanding of other trades (HVAC electrical etc.. This role is for a selfmotivated experienced individual who excels in leadership communication and problemsolving. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and quality control of plumbing projects in both residential and light commercial applications while ensuring the highest standards of quality across all aspects of the job.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading a team providing and receiving direction and solving problems proactively to keep projects on track.
Common Types of Projects Managed:
Repipes (wholehouse or commercial system replacements)
Redrains (drainage and pipe restoration)
Water quality improvement systems (filtration softening etc.
Sewer and drain repairs
Water heater installations and replacements
General plumbing maintenance and upgrades
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage plumbing projects ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Oversee installation maintenance and repairs related to plumbing systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
Coordinate with other trades (HVAC electrical etc. to ensure seamless project .
Monitor project timelines budgets and safety standards.
Resolve plumbingrelated challenges offering creative and effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and company standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to plumbing teams subcontractors and junior staff.
Assist with the oversight of other trades as necessary to ensure a high standard of work.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in plumbing project management and quality control.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problemsolving skills with the ability to handle complex construction challenges.
Ability to coordinate and work with other trades such as HVAC electrical and general construction.
Knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems codes and safety standards.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
5 years of plumbing experience with a focus on project management and quality control.
Additional knowledge or certifications in HVAC electrical or other construction trades is a plus.
