Apply Online: Application Portal Job Title: Speech Language PathologistContract Days: 190The Speech Therapist is directly supervised and evaluated by the Related Services of Employment:Masters Degree in Communicative DisordersArkansas state license to practice speech therapyProvisional License to complete Clinical Fellowship Year or Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech Language Hearing AssociationArkansas Teaching License in Speech Language Pathology Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Screen evaluate and provide therapeutic services to students with communicative disabilities in PreK elementary middle junior high and/or the high school with staff to ensure team understanding of student speech performance strengths and needs as well as student the students ability and formulate the students speech profile providing written reports that reflect strengths and barriers to student participation in the educational environment and guides evidencebased in the development of Individualized Education the need for assistive technology and equipment and make recommendations for its use at school to help students function as independently as speech therapy services and maintains records in accordance with school district policies as well as state and federal laws and regulations. ex. Medicaid Billing notes therapy log due process)Continue to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the field by attending seminars workshops or professional continuing education to administration staff and parents in regards to communication disorders and development. Other duties as assigned.
