What you get to do:
You willroll up your sleeves get your hands dirty and perform carpentry work in order to keep our parks looking sharp.
Specifically you will:
Perform all functions of general carpentry work for inpark builds repairs installations providing a safe environment for guests and employees.
Select proper materials for jobs
Dependable performance in terms of attendance acceptance of assignments and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors Vendors and our Guests
Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
3 years of onsite experience in the carpentry trade
Experience with cabinet building and framing fabrications of solid surface and laminate countertops roof repairs drywall installation concrete work and more.
Ability to work with blueprints or indepth sketches
Ability to operate and maintain power and hand tools and other equipment in good safe condition
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess basic mathematical skills
Work at heights up to 100ft work on scaffolding up to 24 ft and ability to climb and work off of ladders
Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ablility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes dust odors loud noises/vibrations and cold/heat temperature extremes
Perform cleaning duties including use of cleaning chemicals
Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need to include opening mid and closing shifts; nights weekends and holidays
