Job Description

Opportunity for regular casual work at Holmesglen Private Hospital

Will provide regular leave and weekend cover across all departments; Outpatient exercise classes Acute wards and inpatient rehab unit.

Supported by physiotherapist OTs and Dietician.

The Allied Health Assistant role is to provide support to therapists and deliver exceptional patient care under the directions of the treating therapists.

About us

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a comprehensive 147 beds acute private hospital. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including an emergency department advanced coronary care cardiothoracic orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 6bed intensive care unit 9bed acute coronary care unit and 7 operating theatres.

Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant in rehabilitation setting preferable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g.: Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance First Aid Certificate etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Superior time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Have adaptable and flexible casual availability
