We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. About the Opportunity
The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for the design development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure efficient reliable and scalable testing of digital products and services. This role provides technical leadership within the automation stream and plays a key role in embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines across platforms and teams.
The Senior Automation Engineer works closely with developers QA and DevOps teams to drive continuous testing practices support highquality releases and ensure automation efforts are aligned with strategic technology goals.
About you
You are an experienced and technically skilled automation engineer with a strong background in software testing across web API and backend services. You bring over five years of handson experience with tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright RestAssured and Postman along with solid programming skills in languages like Java JavaScript Python or C#. Youre confident integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Azure DevOps or Git and you have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and testing principles.
You hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field and ideally you have certifications in test automation DevOps or CI/CD. Experience with BDD tools containerisation (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) cloud environments (AWS or Azure) or work in regulated industries will be highly regarded.
You take pride in mentoring and guiding junior team members and value collaboration to deliver highquality outcomes. Your work reflects ethical conduct and a commitment to customercentric digitally enabled solutions. You are proactive in using digital tools understand the importance of data security and contribute to a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
