Job Description
Storey Park Club is thrilled to offer an exciting career opportunity for a friendly and dependable Caf Attendant to join our team at our poolside caf within the clubhouse. This parttime position offers flexible hours and we are seeking someone who thrives in a hospitality environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the clubs managed by Troon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food (simple items cooked in an air fryer) and drinks including alcoholic beverages.
- Occasionally the role may require setting up and operating an outdoor BBQ grill for special events or gatherings.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register transactions and process payments with POS system.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering or special events if applicable.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old (for serving alcohol)
- Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
- Must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop kneel and crouch; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
