Reporting to the Division Sales Manager the Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for proactively engaging new and existing customers within a defined geographic territory to drive market penetration and accelerate growth.
This position will be remote with up to 75 travel supporting Western Kentucky & Western Tennessee.
In this role your daytoday will include:
Creating and executing strategic sales plans with your sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
Managing opportunities and accounts in Salesforce (SFDC) including tracking activities and sales progress.
Building relationships with engineering firms industry contacts and key decisionmakers to position Hach as a leader in water management.
Attending customer site visits trade shows product demos and seminars to keep the pulse of your territory.
Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while supporting existing customer accounts.
Leading monthly funnel reviews and sales forecasts presenting results with confidence and precision.
Mentoring other RSMs sharing your expertise and contributing to a culture of growth and success.
What Were Looking For:
Experience: 5 years of direct sales experience preferably in analytical instrumentation or industrial markets.
Industry Knowledge: B2B experience selling complex industrial products and solutions especially in sectors like Waste Water Drinking Water Power or Industrial Water.
Education: A degree in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science Engineering or related fields is a plus.
Sales Skills: Familiarity with sales methodologies like Question Based Selling Value Selling or Sandler.
CRM Expertise: Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $90000.00 $100000 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
