Senior ServiceNow Developer with SECRET Remote DC MD VA area

ICFs Digital Modernization Division is a rapidly growing entrepreneurial technology department seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with a SECRET Clearance to be part of an established team supporting our federal client in Washington DC.

The Team

Supports the DoS modernization effort to automate all business processes within the departments cloud ServiceNow Platform. The team follows Scrum methodology to support the CICD release methodology in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial technology department.

The Work

Be part of an agile team to support DoS ServiceNow modernization including CMDB implementation be responsible for but not limited to designing configuring developing and troubleshooting and implementing baseline and custom applications to enhance the platform. In addition support all stability and implementation of architectural changes when needed.

Description

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you play a pivotal technicalleadership role in successfully deploying ServiceNow solutions for our clients. In this role you will be responsible for configuring customizing and implementing ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements. Your technical expertise attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and lead the implementation of ServiceNow CMDB solutions toensure compliance with Configuration Management processes and policies.

The ideal candidate will be a selfstarter with experience in planning implementation and administration of all aspects of ServiceNow in an enterpriseclass environment. They may also possess similar experience with related technology services and can provide excellent results with minimal supervision. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills possess a strong understanding of detail and possess superior maturity professionalism and judgment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for program design coding testing debugging and documentation.

• Technical knowledge and responsibility for all phases of application systems analysis and programming.

• Understands the business or function for which the application is designed.

• Full Stack Developer Engineer who can handle all the work of databases servers systems engineering and clients.

• Adept at developing frontend portal backend console development.

• Experience with programming languages and databases including HTML CSS JavaScriptsupporting libraries and JSON.

• Experience building and supporting scoped applications.

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.

• Prepares detailed specifications for programs.

• Responsible for the maintenance of licenses and certificates across the ServiceNow platform.

• Experienced with Change and Release Management processes.

** The right candidate for this role will reside within commuting distance of the DC MD VA area. While this is a remote role meetings onsite may require your presence no more than 20 of your time.**

**Secret Security Clearance Required**

Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification

• Active Certified Application Developer

Required Skills:

• 5 years of development experience with an active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification

• 2 years of CMDB Custom App Development and ITSM experience

• US citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.

• Must have active Secret Clearance

• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S) as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Preferred Skills:

• Integration experience (SOAP REST and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports).

• Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users groups and roles CMS Development ACLs business rules workflows UI actions UI policies dictionary and catalog items. Orchestration and Discovery experience a plus.

• ServiceNow Developer Certification is strongly preferred.

• Experience conducting ServiceNow instance upgrades.

• Certified in two or more additional mainline certifications with preference for CIS Discover and CIS Service Mapping
