The role
As a Senior Financial Policy Officer you will manage and coordinate the development implementation and evaluation of key policies for Finance. Youll support and implement evidencebased governance and policy advice and prepare critical documents such as Cabinet Submissions and House Folder Notes. Collaboration across divisions and with external stakeholders is essential to achieving highquality outcomes while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
As a Senior Financial Policy Officer you will play a pivotal role in shaping Finance policy; you will be equipped to thrive within a highvolume environment where competing priorities and tight deadlines are the norm. Youll be expected to navigate diverse stakeholder interests and translate complex technical details into plainEnglish solutions ensuring informed decisionmaking and impactful policy advice.
