Machine Operatives
The Role:
Our well established client in South Luffenham is currently looking for manufacturing staff to be trained to run their thermoforming & CNC machines. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills as full training will be given.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and monitor production training will be provided
- Loading and unloading of machines
- Maintaining machinery.
- Performing quality checks to minimise nonconformance
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within an engineering environment advantageous but not essential
- Ability to operate machinery
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work on own or as part of a team
- Ability to get to South Luffenham
- Comply with health and safety procedures and policies to ensure the role is carried out without risk to self and others.
Hours and Pay:
- Hours: 37.5
- Rotating shifts.
Earlies 05:30 13:30 Monday to Friday
Lates: Monday Wednesday 13:30 23:30 Thursday 13:30 23:00 Friday off
- 11/hour inc. shift premium
- Overtime after 37.5 hours @ 13.76 on Saturday & 18.34 on Sunday
