Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking a highly regarded Business Development Director with a proven ability to identify and grow new business within the US IndoPacific Command. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success in identifying and winning new business leading business development teams in capturing targeted programs in the IT Intelligence and Logistics sectors.
It is critical for the candidate to have current contacts and established relationships within the Systems Integration IT and mission solution communities across the INDOPACOM organization and customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identifying developing and leading opportunity maturation and pursuit to include management and through qualification and capture
- Thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and of the full lifecycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits bringing them into qualified opportunities for capture
- Identify gaps and emerging requirements perform market and economic analysis conduct business intelligence design and execute customer engagement plans shaping win themes and work hand in hand with our marketing and communications teams
- Exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies; regularly interact with all levels of management functional POCs staff and customers; and display a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Excel at multitasking familiarity with Peratons business development process and practices business and technical vision; strategic thinking; analytical presentation and problem solving skills; the ability to gain internal support; and the ability to establish and maintain a solid working relationship with technical staff managers and peers. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of related experience in growing an INDOPACOM portfolio of services and solutions and creating/shaping/winning high pWIN contract opportunities
- 6 or more years experience shaping and winning technical opportunities (IT & Mission Solutions projects captures)
- Highly effective interpersonal skills working with technical leaders and business executives within Peraton with INDOPACOM customers and with teammates and subcontractors
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
Desired
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with RoK Japan and Australia
- Profit/loss experience in leading complex IT and Mission Solutions contracts
- Experience winning INDOPACOM work
- Bachelors/Masters degree
