The Opportunity:
The School of Molecular Biosciences and the Center of Reproductive Biology seek a fulltime Research supervisor to perform the following noninclusive list of tasks: Identification and definition of research problems design of approaches or hypotheses and methodology to be used design of specific phases of research projects analysis of the results development of conclusions and hypothesis and presentation of research results in publications. They are responsible for supervising/managing research project operations and personnel.
Additional Information:
This is a full time 100 FTE) temporary position. This position is overtime eligible.
Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end one year from the hire date. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
Monthly Salary:
$4061.90 $6092.84 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in an appropriate related scientific or engineering discipline and five 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience which has included at least one 1 year of lead or supervisory experience. A Masters degree in an appropriate related discipline may be substituted for up to one 1 year of the required experience exclusive of the lead or supervisory experience.
Experience using aCRISPR.
